Monday 

7.00-7.30am         Early morning Energiser with Nigel – online £5

7.30-8.30am    Power Vinyasa Flow with Christine. £13 

This one-hour class will be a strong, playful, and energizing flow.  It will focus on building strength throughout the body and challenging endurance, all while linking breath to movement.  Each class will include a strong warm-up, dynamic vinyasa sequencing, and a relaxing cool-down with longer holds in restorative poses. Everyone and all levels of practice are welcome to join this dynamic experience.

9.30-11.00am        Hatha Yoga with Michelle – £15

 General level Hatha yoga suitable for all levels. A therapeutic approach, with a focus on unwinding by setting up poses concisely and working deeply within them. Learning to let go of old habits by creating space physically & mentally through a grounding & yielding practise. An open & personal approach will be given and to leave the class with a sense of enhanced wellbeing, will be the aim.

11.30am-12.30pm       Gentle/Chair Yoga with Karen  £8 (£7 concessions) 

Gentle yoga: a calm class for all ages & abilities including those new to yoga. It will include movement, breath work and meditation, and can either be done sitting on a chair or using a yoga mat. Some standing poses are included, with options for those who choose to remain seated. The class aims to strengthen and refresh us while improving our balance and our breathing.

Please pay Karen cash on the day for this class.

 

6.00pm-7.15pm       Iyengar yoga general level with Katrin. 6 weeks £85 – drop in option per week £15

On this course you will learn the initial movements and actions that are needed to achieve the fundamental shapes of asanas (yoga postures). The course will cover the main categories of asanas: standing, seated, twists, forward bends, back bends and inversions. Props (blankets, chairs, bricks, belts and foams) may be introduced where they are needed to help achieve an improved asana. This course is for beginners but can be for those in need of a refresher. Yoga is inclusive so all practitioners, ages and body types welcome. It will be a safe, friendly and supportive environment for students to begin and explore their yoga practice journey.

6.30-8.00pm         Astanga yoga online with Nigel –  £10

7.30-8.45pm        Strong Slow Flow Yoga with Freddie.   £15

A physically quite challenging class, designed with a focus on mobility to naturally develop strength and flexibility in the body. For busy people who live in their head who want to get into their body, strengthen it mindfully and gain insight through playful exploration.

11.00-12.00pm Post natal class with babies with Clare – £14

A therapeutic yoga class to support postnatal healing and recovery.

Incorporating rehabilitative breath-work techniques, gentle movement and strength building exercises, the session offers a supportive held space to reconnect to your body after birth, build strength mindfully and relieve some of the physical aches and tightness that come with caring for a baby.

With optional tea and check-in after class, this is a welcoming space to gather with other Mums and focus on postnatal healing and wellbeing.

The class is suitable for you and your baby from 6-8 weeks postpartum until fast crawling.

3.45-4.45pm  Smile Kids yoga with Tabassum

Term time kids yoga classes.

Classes provide a non-competitive environment for children in which they can develop
 self-expression, focus and resilience.
 The themed classes are a mixture of
storytelling, songs, games, breathing 
& meditation.

7.30-8.45pm   Iyengar yoga general level – 6 week course with Katrin 

Aimed at practitioners who have attended a beginner class, had a break from practising and want to restart, or wish to revisit the foundations of their asana practice.
More advanced and detailed instructions will be introduced to create a deeper and more challenging asana practice. Focusing on standing, sitting, twisting, inverted asanas with forward, backward and supine extensions, the goal is to develop strength and improve mobility, stamina, concentration and relaxation.
The Iyengar yoga teaching method – based on the lifetime work of Guruji B.K.S. Iyengar – aims to achieve optimum postural alignment in each asana.
Katrin has been practising yoga for 23 years and was introduced to Iyengar yoga to help alleviate severe lower back pain. She completed her teacher training in Africa and the Middle East and qualified in 2018.

An enjoyable class on the mellow side of physical intensity, combining mindful movement with a focus on mobility to naturally develop stability and agility in the body. For people open to exploration and fun discoveries, who want to feel balanced, calm and at ease.

Slow Flow is a creative style of modern yoga, blending elements of Vinyasa Flow and Hatha. Unrushed sequences emphasizing the connection between movement and breath, fewer poses than Vinyasa Flow and more movement than Hatha.

 

Friday

Runs in blocks of term time classes that can be booked as a course or drop in each week.

11.30-1.00pm     Iyengar yoga all levels with Olivia   £15

Runs every week on a drop in basis.  The class is general level and beginners and more advanced yoga students are welcome. Each class has a balance between effort and relaxation, adapting yoga postures to suit individual needs.

1.15-2.45pm    Yoga for healthy backs course with Julia Moore – all levels 

Whether you have had back pain for three months or thirty years… this course will help you to understand your back better. You will learn various techniques and movements that will strengthen the muscles that support your spine and release the muscles that compress your spine.

11.30-6.30pm    First aid courses with MGM Training  

Open to all.  Make sure your certification is up to date.  Health and safety regulations, managing an incident, blood loss, treatment of burns and seizures.  Runs once a month.
