We are looking for experienced yoga people to help us out on reception in exchange for classes. Reception shifts that are available at the moment are Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings 6.00-8.00pm and some daytime slots too. You need to have a basic knowledge of yoga, good English, cheerful and friendly disposition and good organisational abilities. Duties will include, checking people into classes, answering the phone, selling books and equipment, cleaning, and some admin. If you are interested, please e-mail for more information.
Tara is teaching again after having time off for maternity leave and will be resuming classes on Sunday, Monday and Thursday mornings. See timetable for more details.
We have a BWY Integration course starting in January next year. This is a course designed for existing teachers with a teaching qualification who want to gain a BWY teaching certificate. The course lasts 10 months. More details in the BWY section.
Did you know we run 2 'community' classes each week which cost just £2? These classes are taught by trainee teachers who have completed the first unit (anatomy/physiology/health/teaching asana) of the BWY teacher training Diploma. They are sometimes observed by a more experienced teacher. Open to all abilities and levels of experience. You will be helping the trainees by giving them experience of teaching 'real' classes and you enjoy a great class at a fantastic low price. Tuesdays 4.30-6.00pm and Thursdays 1.00-2.30pm.
