There are new parking restrictions in the roads around Yoga junction from 12.00-2.00 every weekday. Don't get caught out - walk or cycle to your class if you can.

Come along to a workshop for total beginners on Saturday 18th February at 2.00-4.30pm with Nigel. Learn about the different styles of yoga and have a go at trying them out. Time for questions and individual advice on which class will be best for you.

We are looking for experienced yoga people to help us out on reception in exchange for classes. You need to have a basic knowledge of yoga, good English, cheerful and friendly disposition and good organisational abilities. Duties  include, checking people into classes, answering the phone, selling books and equipment, a bit of light cleaning, and some basic admin. Did you know we run 2 community classes each week which cost just £2? These classes are taught by trainee teachers who have completed the first unit (anatomy/physiology/health/teaching asana) of the BWY teacher training Diploma or equivalent. They are sometimes observed by a more experienced teacher as part of their assessment. Open to all abilities and levels of experience. You will be helping the trainees by giving them experience of teaching 'real' classes and you enjoy a great class at a fantastic low price. Tuesdays 4.30-6.00pm and Thursdays 1.00-2.30pm.

If you have been taking yoga classes for at least 2 years then you might be interested in doing a BWY Foundation Course. This study course lasts 60 hours over months and gives a thorough introduction to the history, philosophy and practice of Hatha yoga either for your personal development or as a preliminary to teacher training.
